Eric Mofford is a creative producer, director, line producer, consultant and writer. He has been involved in over 150 film, television and on-line productions as well as numerous music videos,commercials and theater. His credits include the Emmy-winning television series “24,” the acclaimed Ram Dass documentary “Becoming Nobody” and the iconic indie feature, “Daughters of the Dust.” Recent projects include the documentaries, “Space Cowboy” and “GSW-Gun Shot Wound.” He has overseen projects for NOVA, PBS, Hulu, Nat Geo, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, Smithsonian Channel and Comedy Central. He has served as Head of Production for three different production companies, including Unconventional Media, producing the Emmy-nominated, award-winning documentary, “Houston We Have A Problem,” the live action portions for the EA video game, “Need For Speed: Undercover,” with Maggie Q, and the dramatic television pilot, “Finding Hope.”  In 2000-2001, he co-produced the ground breaking documentary PBS series “Senior Year.” He also produced the web series and web site.

Mofford, a member of the DGA, has written and directed projects for Disney Interactive, Saban Entertainment, Discovery Channel, Image America, United Way and TBS. His dramatic blues film, “Travelin’ Trains,” won over a dozen national and international film festival awards and continues to play in art museum showcases over 30 years later. He has sold two feature film screenplays and has various projects in development including a VR/AR and a transmedia documentary. Eric has shared his knowledge, mentoring and teaching numerous media workshops, both in the United States and internationally, including over 20 years at the Maine Media Workshops.

Eric has written and directed award winning projects for Disney Interactive, Saban Entertainment, The Discovery Channel, Image America, United Way and TBS. 2 feature film original screenplays sold. He has done schedules and budgets for both large studio productions and small Indies; understands network notes/concerns and managed production teams of over 100 plus, other times a crew of 3. Strong proficiency in Google Docs, Slack, Quickbooks, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative and Movie Magic Budgeting and Scheduling. He has handled HR, processed payroll and a strong knowledge of tax incentives/local labor laws, both union and non-union. Always safety conscious, with recent COVID19 safety training. Lots of remote work skills, project management, post-production supervising and International experience with carnets and currency exchange. Travel always welcome.
