Daphne Ioanna Giannoulatou is a Creative Science Communicator whose research and practice focus on Science and Research Engagement through arts-based methods. Her work is to communicate complex scientific ideas utilising the artistic toolkit in accessible, engaging ways to expert and non-expert audiences of all ages, for both educational and enrichment purposes.

She is a freelance consultant specialising in Creative Science Communication, content creation, and public engagement for academic and research projects. Daphne collaborates with independent researchers and organisations, helping them share their findings through interactive exhibits and tailored to their needs digital content. She serves as the Creative and Marketing Manager at Oriel Science, a science centre based in Wales, UK, and is a guest lecturer at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), where she teaches the module Interdisciplinary Science Communication.
